### Download...
This downloads the ***original data*** file that was uploaded to OMERO. For this option:
* None of tags or other metadata added in OMERO
* No ROIs added in OMERO
* No changes in the rendering
will be exported.
This is very useful for analysing complicated image sets with program such as FIJI, Imaris.

Usually these will be in the propriety format associated with the microscope used. For example, Nikon images are saved as `.nd2`, Deltavision files are saved as `.dv2`. If the selected image is part of a series (e.g. multi-image or movie) it will download the whole file.
If the multiple images are selected that come of multiple original iamge files, each of the orginals will be downloaded.

### Export as...
This downloads the images stored in OMERO. If you have made alterations to how the image is rendered in OMERO this will be reflected in this export.
Only a fraction of metadata from the original will be exported for this option. Additional metadata added in OMERO is not exported in these images.
The OME-TIFF option only works for if a single image is selected. This is not a very useful option.
For `.png`, `.jpeg`,`.tiff` multiple images can saved at once. You will be prompted to save the image(s) into a `.zip` archive:

The `.zip`archive can be opened by doubling clicking.
