MIF computers
The microscope acquisition computers and the computers in the MIF computer lab should all have OMERO.insight installed and a short cut on the desktop. Email me if there isn't a shortcut there.
UTS computers
OMERO.insight has been packaged for installation in the UTS software center. It is available to all staff and to science students. If you are student from another faculty you can get a staff member to login into your computer and install it for you.
1 Open the UTS Software Center application
2 Find OMERO.insight in the program list
3 Click install
This will install the program into the start menu. It can can also be updated through the software centre.
Self administered computers
If you have administrator rights you can install the client on your own computer. The version of OMERO.insight needs to match the version of our server. The correct versions can be downloaded here
You will also need to the Java SDK installed. There are some instructions here.
