+# Version of client and server
+The version of the client must the version of server, if there is a mismatch OMERO will claim to not recognise you.
+
+The current version of OMERO is 5.4 but the version we have installed is 5.3.3. The default download page for OMERO will take you to the wrong version. The correct version can be downloaded from:
+
+<http://downloads.openmicroscopy.org/omero/5.3.3/>
+
+You can check version of the client you have by looking at the bottom of the login screen.
