# Downloading data from OMERO.web
Downloading from the OMERO webpage is possible, although more limited than the OMERO.insight client.
Downloading from the OMERO webpage is possible, although it is really only practical
The problems with downloads from the web are:
* Downloads can only be save to your Downloads folder
* Multiple exports packaged as a .zip file must be less than 2GB total
* Creating .zip files unreliable
* Large files will timeout, especially over WiFi
If you need to download many files then use the OMERO.insight client. It is installed on all computers in the computer lab (CB04.07.451).
